As of now, CripXmas and all official Dankmaster Genetics lines are under formal IP protection and will be legal binding under 1st licensing agreement. This post is to clarify exactly what is — and is not — permitted moving forward as the project expands.
This isn’t about ego. It’s about preserving genetic integrity, protecting the Dankmaster Standard (DMS), and ensuring that growers who run the real line know what they’re getting.
What You CAN Do:
- Grow from official seed packs or clone drops
- Document your grow logs (with credit)
- Share your experience, photos, and test results
- Use for personal breeding (without using the CripXmas/Dankmaster name)
What You CANNOT Do:
- Make seeds using CripXmas, Sigma Crippy, Super NL2, etc. and distribute them (even for free) under those names. The only AUTHORIZED cultivator is Cannabis Crusader
- Use the CripXmas or Dankmaster name to sell, hype, or label any derivative crosses
- Claim affiliation, testing, or breeder status without direct permission
- Represent crosses as “CripXmas hybrids” or “CripXmas x ____” without authorization
Why This Matters:
The CripXmas line is pre-OG Kush, built from Tampa Crippy x Xmas Bud ’79 x PTK — and cannot be recreated.
The DMS protocol is a real finishing standard, and only properly flushed, preserved, and sealed flower meets that quality.
Dankmaster is not just a name — it’s now a licensed, documented brand.
If you respect legacy, then respect the work that’s gone into reviving it the right way.
If you’re unsure whether your usage is authorized, just ask.
But moving forward, unauthorized use of the CripXmas or Dankmaster names in breeding, branding, or sales will be challenged.
Thanks to everyone who’s supported the revival. This is how we protect real cannabis history.
